Red Cabbage Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 head of red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced red cabbage and red onion.

Red Cabbage Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 1 head of red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onion and garlic, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add the sliced red cabbage to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion and garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is slightly softened but still has some crunch.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the cabbage and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through and the cabbage is fully coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
